- Design moulds, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling components.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
- Study customer drawings and product requirements to develop tooling concepts.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Perform tolerance analysis and apply GD&T standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and tool room teams during tool manufacturing and trials.
- Modify and improve existing tool designs to enhance productivity and tool life.
- Support tool trials, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain design documentation and revision records.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
