Experienced ERM Administrator responsible for supporting the Lead ERM Administrator in the management of the Materials Management System (MMS), i.e. AVEVA ERM, including administration, configuration and support, in support of the end-to-end materials lifecycle management during project execution.
Act as a focal point for the MMS in the assigned scope/location.
Assist with providing guidance to regional focal points and delivery leads, ensuring consistent application without removing regional accountability.
Performance
- Troubleshooting of product issues. Log issues in the Supplier’s support portal if required.
- Assist with testing MMS upgrades, enhancements and integrations.
- Assist with root cause analysis of systemic issues and implementation of corrective actions.
- Able to assist (if required) with development of new reports and SQL views where appropriate.
- Assist with the rollout of the MMS and associated materials lifecycle management processes. This includes working with the relevant functions (e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Construction) to ensure the MMS is setup in accordance with the Client’s and Contract/Project’s requirements, and to provide guidance on how the system should be used to ensure compliance.
- Set-up new contracts and projects within the MMS including assistance with new interfaces where required.
- When required, act as a Material Management Support Specialist. Refer to the associated Role Profile for the specific responsibilities.
- When required, act as a Local Materials Management Focal Point on specific Contracts/Projects. Refer to the associated Role Profile for the specific responsibilities.
- Contribute to the development of the documentation associated with the MMS, e.g. MMS Administration Procedures, training material for users and administrators.
- When required, provide user training, as well as attend to user queries.
- When required, coordinate user access to the material management system.

- Provide input to pursuits, execution strategies, and client engagements where required.

Governance, Policies and Procedures
- Apply product‑specific standards, configuration rules, and lifecycle controls.
- Assist in ensuring the product complies with internal policies, contractual obligations, and information management requirements.
- Provide input into documentation for:
- Deployment configurations
- Known constraints and limitations
- Approved deviations
Escalate strategic, commercial, or systemic risks to the Product Owner.
Qualifications:
- Individual with qualifications and experience in material management lifecycle activities for EPC companies.
- Individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in activities associated with the control of project material requirements for the engineering design, procurement and construction of Oil & Gas facilities.
- Expert in the administration and support of all AVEVA ERM modules.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge of all stages of the material management lifecycle, including Material Take-offs, Requisitioning, Tendering, Purchasing, Expediting, Inspection, Material Allocation, Shipping, Surplus Management.
- Possess in-depth technical knowledge of project materials, including the requirements derived from local and international codes & standards, as well as client specific requirements.
- Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Possess high computer skills, preference for programming in LUA, high Excel functionality knowledge.
- Writing SQL queries to support report development within MMS beneficial.
- Basic Oracle database knowledge beneficial.
- Have a strong understanding of data sources relating to materials management, both incoming and outgoing data (e.g. 3D CAD systems, ERP systems, etc).
- Understanding of how Pipe Classes and commodity code/part numbers are related and drive 3D CAD and plant design to deliver project materials.
