Design, build, and ship complex iOS features and app components independently, keeping delivery on track within owned scope.
Own code quality and maintainability for major iOS components, including identifying and reducing manageable technical debt.
Implement robust unit and UI tests (XCTest, XCUITest) for critical user flows within owned scope.
Submit well-scoped, reviewable pull requests and provide clear, timely code reviews for peers, including junior engineers.
Apply Swift/SwiftUI (or Objective-C where required) engineering standards and architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM, Coordinator) to keep implementations consistent and extensible.
Communicate progress, risks, and testing readiness clearly with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and other immediate stakeholders.
Mentor junior and mid-level iOS engineers through day-to-day guidance, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
Diagnose and resolve moderately complex bugs and performance issues in owned app areas using structured debugging and profiling tools.
Support App Store release readiness for owned features, including build configuration, crash triage, and adherence to Apple submission guidelines.
Collaborate with design and backend teams to translate requirements into technically sound, maintainable iOS implementations.
