Job Title: Room Attendant (Hotel)Job Summary
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in guest rooms and assigned hotel areas. This role ensures a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests while following established hotel policies and safety guidelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Room Cleaning
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors according to hotel standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and replace towels.
- Dust furniture, clean mirrors, vacuum carpets, and mop floors.
- Replenish guest supplies and amenities (toiletries, minibar items, stationery).
- Ensure proper arrangement of furniture and fixtures.
Quality & Safety
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (e.g., lighting, plumbing) and report to housekeeping/engineering.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
- Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality.
Guest Service
- Respond politely and efficiently to guest requests.
- Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
- Report lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
Operational Duties
- Restock housekeeping carts and closets.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas (service pantries, corridors).
- Work closely with the housekeeping team and supervisors to meet daily room targets.
- Follow the hotel’s room cleaning checklist and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage (not always required).
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills.

- Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays.
- Fast-paced environment requiring efficiency and accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹8,279.17 - ₹15,361.78 per month
