Experience Required: 4–7 years in Oracle ASAP or telecom service activation/provisioning
Engagement Type: Full-time / Contract — to be confirmed with HR
Location: Riyadh, KSA (onsite/hybrid — to be confirmed)
ROLE PURPOSE
Develop and maintain Oracle ASAP service activation flows so that customer orders translate into correctly provisioned network services, with reliable activation, rollback, and error-handling behavior.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build ASAP Network Element Adapters (NEAs) and Service/Network Activation flows using Design Studio.
- Develop and maintain Service Descriptors and Cartridge Bridge components for network provisioning.
- Build and maintain integration touchpoints between ASAP and OSM/UIM for order-to-activation flow.
- Diagnose and resolve activation failures, working with network teams to identify root cause.
- Support activation testing across new network element types and service definitions.
- Maintain activation runbooks and support production hypercare during releases.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Oracle ASAP (Advanced Service Activation Platform) Design Studio and NEA development.
- Scripting for NEAs (TCL and/or Java) and Cartridge Bridge configuration.
- Understanding of network provisioning and activation protocols relevant to the client's network elements.
- SQL against Oracle Database.
- Familiarity with OSM-to-ASAP integration patterns.
PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE
- Prior exposure to an Oracle RODOD-based BSS/OSS stack end-to-end.
- Experience activating services across multi-vendor network elements.
- Exposure to Oracle AIA/SOA Suite for cross-system integration troubleshooting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
