A valid Boiler Operator Certificate is compulsory for this position with 2 – 5 Years of Experience
Candidates without a valid government-issued Boiler Operator Certificate will not be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Boiler Operation & Monitoring
- Operate and monitor boiler systems strictly as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain proper steam pressure, temperature, and water level within the defined safe operating range
- Ensure smooth and continuous boiler performance throughout every shift
- Check and control all boiler parameters — pressure gauge, water level indicator, safety valves, and feed pumps — at regular intervals
- Take immediate action on any deviation from normal operating parameters and report to supervisor
2. Maintenance & Log Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily boiler operation logs and shift records
- Record all readings of pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels at defined intervals
- Report any abnormal condition, unusual noise, or parameter deviation to the supervisor immediately
- Assist in routine inspection, minor maintenance, and cleaning activities during planned shutdowns
- Ensure proper handover to the relieving operator with complete log update and verbal briefing
3. Safety Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to boiler safety rules, government regulations, and factory safety standards at all times
- Follow all safety protocols while operating boiler equipment, pressure vessels, and associated systems
- Conduct thorough pre-shift and during-shift safety checks on all safety devices and interlocks
- Report any safety hazard, equipment fault, or potential unsafe condition to the supervisor without delay
- Ensure safe handling of fuel, steam pipelines, pressure systems, and blow-down procedures
- Never bypass or disable any safety device, interlock, or alarm under any circumstance
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled repairs, servicing, and inspection activities
- Support the production team by ensuring uninterrupted and stable steam supply at required pressure
- Communicate all operational issues, abnormal conditions, and equipment status to supervisors in real time
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programs as scheduled
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
