Title: Tool & Die Maker

Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication: Interpret 2D/3D blueprints and CAD designs to cut, shape, and finish metal or plastic parts.
- Die & Mold Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair or regrind worn-out dies, molds, and tooling.
- Machine Operations: Set up and operate conventional and CNC machinery (e.g., milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and EDMs).
- Testing & Quality Control: Assemble parts and test completed dies or tools to ensure they produce defect-free goods.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix tooling-related defects on the production line to minimize downtime.
Core Requirements & Skills
- Technical Education: Typically requires a diploma, ITI certification, or a formal apprenticeship (e.g., NTTF or GTTC in India).
- Measurement Expertise: High proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to visualize complex CAD/CAM models and interpret engineering drawings.
- Math & Mechanical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills with excellent mathematical and spatial reasoning abilities.
- Software Skills: Basic familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming languages is highly advantageous.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
