About the Role
Saraswati Group of Colleges, Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor – Pharmacognosy.
The role requires a dedicated academic professional with strong subject knowledge in Pharmacognosy and a passion for teaching. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and departmental activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Pharmacognosy
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and assessments
- Conduct laboratory demonstrations and practical classes
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records
- Mentor students in academic and practical learning
- Participate in curriculum implementation and departmental activities
- Organize seminars, workshops, and academic events

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy (Mandatory)
- Ph.D. in Pharmacy / Pharmacognosy (Preferred)
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or relevant industry experience
- Fresh candidates with excellent academic credentials may also apply
- Strong subject knowledge in Pharmacognosy
