Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing & Patient Care:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately to inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide appropriate information on dosage, side effects, and storage of medications.
- Check prescriptions for errors and ensure patient safety.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain stock levels, check for expiry, and coordinate reordering of medicines.
- Receive, label, and store stock following safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure proper documentation of drugs received and dispensed.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Adhere to hospital protocols, pharmacy policies, and drug control regulations.
- Maintain records of narcotics and schedule drugs as per guidelines.
- Participate in internal and external pharmacy audits.
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding drug availability and alternatives.
- Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions as per protocol.
- Educate patients and staff on safe medication practices when required.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the pharmacy area.
- Maintain logs, reports, and computerized billing entries where applicable.
- Participate in stock verification and audit processes.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
