X-Gen College of Visual Art is seeking an academically focused Sculpture Instructor to teach theory-based classes and guide students in the conceptual and academic foundations of sculpture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theory classes on sculpture, form analysis, and sculptural history.
- Teach material properties and applications of clay, wood, stone, metal, fiber, POP, and terracotta.
- Guide students in conceptual sketching and sculpture planning.
- Support students in portfolio development and research projects.
- Conduct assessments, assignments, and academic evaluations.
- Introduce modern sculptural trends and industry practices.
- Create engaging presentations and lecture materials.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of sculpture theory and history.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of anatomy, materials science, and structural principles.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Qualifications
- BVA/BFA/MVA/MFA (Specialisation in Sculpture).
- 1–2 years of teaching or industry experience preferred.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge are welcome to apply.
