Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, performance, and security issues in a timely manner.
- Configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and related networking equipment.
- Perform network troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution.
- Implement network security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancement projects.
- Monitor network performance using industry-standard monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless business operations.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members when required.
- Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational best practices.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration, network support, or infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, MikroTik, or similar networking platforms.
- Knowledge of network security concepts, firewall management, and access control mechanisms.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux environments, and cloud networking concepts is preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or equivalent will be highly valued.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
