Job Summary
This team is responsible for providing L2-L3 production support for 2000+ Virtual Desktops which are hosted by Azure Public Cloud. This Candidate will be involved in delivering and supporting a technical solution for Azure virtual Desktop. Candidate will provide operational and end user support for the Virtual Desktop environment and participate in the development and implementation of operational procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities*
Providing L2-L3 production support for Virtual Desktop environment which is hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Define the windows desktop images standards and create the master images with required hardening.
User experience monitoring, single sign on and Performance troubleshooting.
Good Idea of FSLogix.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the Virtual Desktop environment.
Responsible for the analysis, administration and support of the Remote Desktop client, Sentrybay Armored and nexthink administration.
Works in ticketing tools and solves escalated issues.
Hands on experience with Azure portal.
Remediate the monthly and quarterly vulnerability of the VMware Horizon environment.
Aware of Windows Print Server, Uniflow, etc
Free to work with vendors like Canon
Registration of account and troubleshooting around it
Vulnerability related to Print server and work with vendor in case required
Skill Requirements
Technical Expertise*
Ability to manage Azure Virtual Desktop environment.
Sound Knowledge of virtualization and window server's operating system.
Good Knowledge of Network technologies like MPLS, F5, Firewall and Zscaler proxy.
Good knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Entra.
Hands on experience managing Azure Virtual Desktop environment.
Incident management and troubleshooting skillset.
Knowledge of scripting language or PowerShell.
Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Other Requirements
Primary Skillset: Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Adminsitration, Windows Server 2026, Uniflow
Secondary Skillset: Exposure of Desktop Virtualization technology like VMware Horizon view and Citrix Xendesktop
