We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Social Media Script Writer who can develop engaging content ideas and scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements and brand videos.
The ideal candidate should understand social media audiences, storytelling, trending content formats and how to communicate a brand’s message through simple and engaging scripts.
Key Responsibilities
- Write scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and promotional videos.
- Develop creative content ideas, hooks and storytelling concepts.
- Write content in Telugu, English and Telugu-English mixed formats.
- Research trending topics, reel formats and competitor content.
- Create scripts for industries such as real estate, restaurants, hospitality, personal branding, education and political profiles.
- Write voice-over scripts, presenter-led scripts, interview questions and UGC-style content.
- Coordinate remotely with the content, design, editing and digital marketing teams.
- Attend online content discussions and client briefing meetings when required.
- Convert client requirements and marketing objectives into engaging scripts.
- Prepare monthly content plans and campaign concepts.
- Revise scripts based on client and internal team feedback.
- Deliver assigned scripts within the agreed timelines.
Skills Required
- Strong creative writing and storytelling skills.
- Good command of Telugu and English.
- Ability to write attention-grabbing hooks and clear calls to action.
- Good understanding of Instagram, YouTube and current social media trends.
- Ability to simplify complex information into engaging content.
