Job Description
- Equipment Operation & Imaging: Operate and manage complex fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital imaging equipment to guide catheters and needles.
- Patient Preparation: Prep patients for procedures, including inserting IVs, administering contrast agents, and explaining the risks and procedures.
- Sterile Field Management: Scrub in to assist the physician, set up sterile equipment trays, and maintain strict aseptic techniques in the procedure room.
- Patient Monitoring: Assess and monitor vital signs, lab values, and overall patient status before, during, and after the intervention.
- Radiation Safety: Adhere to strict protection protocols, utilizing shielding and monitoring exposure levels for both the patient and the healthcare team.
- Documentation: Record accurate charting of procedures, medications, images taken, and any complications.
