Key Responsibilities – Sales Head
- Lead and manage the Sales Team by providing strategic direction, mentoring, performance monitoring, and motivation to achieve organizational sales objectives.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Drive business growth by promoting and selling Platinum Healthcare's Medical Capital Equipment to Government Medical Institutions, hospitals, and healthcare organizations.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers, including Hospital Directors, Medical Superintendents, HODs, Doctors, Biomedical Engineers, and Purchase Departments.
- Identify, monitor, and evaluate Government Tender opportunities, ensuring timely participation and coordination with the Commercial and Management teams for successful submissions.
- Guide the team in conducting product presentations, demonstrations, technical discussions, and customer engagement activities.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to maximize business opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with the Service, Application, Commercial, and Management teams to ensure seamless order execution and high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor the sales pipeline, review team performance regularly, and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Ensure the sales team maintains effective field coverage, customer visits, and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, market intelligence, and competitor analysis for management review.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify new business opportunities and strengthen the company's market position.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing sales professionals while fostering a performance-driven culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical business practices, and government procurement guidelines.
- Strengthen customer relationships through regular engagement and strategic account management while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Requirements & Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Radiography, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Medical Capital Equipment Sales, with mandatory experience in Government Medical Institutions.
- Candidates from the Pharmaceutical Industry will not be considered.
- Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of Government procurement processes, tender management, and institutional sales.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong business development and strategic planning capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 15 days per month).
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of handling a PAN India sales team.
- 3-year Service Bond (Court Agreement) is mandatory.
