Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Operations will oversee and support daily operational functions at The Knot Company, with a strong focus on inventory control, logistics coordination, and goods receipt processes. The role ensures efficient workflow, accurate stock management, and timely delivery of materials to support seamless business operations and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes
- Coordinate with internal teams to align operational activities with business goals
- Monitor KPIs and improve operational efficiency
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations
- Track inventory movement and minimize losses or discrepancies
- Implement inventory control systems and best practices
GRN (Goods Receipt Note) Management
- Oversee the GRN process for all incoming materials and supplies
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely system entry of GRNs
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for discrepancies
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Plan and manage logistics operations including transportation and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and transport partners
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods/materials
- Monitor logistics costs and optimize routes/processes
- Resolve any delays or issues in the supply chain
Team Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and guide operational staff
- Assist in training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
