We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager / HSE Consultant to lead Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) functions for our marine and infrastructure projects at Daman and Bankot. The role is responsible for implementing robust HSE systems, ensuring statutory compliance, enforcing safe work practices, and driving a Zero Harm safety culture across project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, SOPs, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and client safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with construction, marine, lifting, excavation, electrical, hot work, and work-at-height safety standards.
- Conduct HIRA, site inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification.
- Exercise Stop Work Authority (SWA) in case of unsafe acts or conditions.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, mock drills, emergency response training, and first-aid awareness sessions.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE documentation, statutory records, inspection reports, and compliance reports.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, BOCW Act, Factory Act, IS Standards, and applicable marine safety regulations.
Experience:
- 5–15 years of experience in HSE for marine, bridge, port, jetty, infrastructure, EPC, heavy engineering, or oil & gas construction projects.
- Experience in high-risk construction environments is essential.
- Ex-servicemen (Army/Navy/Air Force) will be given preference.
Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
- Ex-Serviceman (Preferred).
- ADIS/PDIS, NEBOSH IGC, Fire & Safety Certification, and First Aid Certification will be an added advantage.
