Job Title: Driver
Location: Ernakulam, Kerala
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Pick & Drop: Safely transport students between hostels, residences, and Xylem Learning centers following the daily schedule.
- Vehicle Care: Drive responsibly, keep the bus clean, and perform daily routine checks (fuel, brakes, tires, fluids). Report maintenance requirements immediately.
- Safety First: Strictly adhere to traffic regulations, manage navigation safely through high-density urban traffic, and ensure safe boarding and deboarding of students. Keep all driving credentials and vehicle documents up to date.
- Coordination: Maintain active communication with hostel wardens, administrative staff, and transport coordinators. Report any route delays or traffic issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Education: SSLC or Plus Two (Preferred).
- License: Valid Driving License (HMV / Heavy Vehicle License with Passenger Badge preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience operating buses or institutional transport in school, college, or coaching institute setups is highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of local routes, bypasses, and traffic patterns across Ernakulam/Kochi, along with fluency in Malayalam.
- Attributes: Patient, punctual, reliable, and capable of maintaining composure during peak traffic hours.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
