Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Factory Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our cable tray manufacturing facility in Verna, Goa. The ideal candidate should have strong production supervision skills, workforce handling experience, and knowledge of fabrication/manufacturing processes to ensure smooth factory operations, productivity, quality, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities in the cable tray manufacturing unit.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule and quality standards.
- Monitor fabrication, cutting, bending, punching, welding, and assembly processes.
- Coordinate with production workers, machine operators, and store personnel for smooth workflow.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity of factory workers.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Maintain production reports, stock consumption records, and daily activity logs.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch departments for material planning and delivery schedules.
- Ensure implementation of safety practices and housekeeping standards within the factory.
- Identify operational issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and wastage.
- Assist management in improving production efficiency and process optimization.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in a fabrication, sheet metal, cable tray, or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings and manufacturing processes.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
