We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer – Sheet Metal with strong expertise in SolidWorks to design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sheet metal design, manufacturing processes, and product development using SolidWorks. Candidates with experience in other CAD software are not required; proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and detailed fabrication documentation.
- Perform sheet metal design activities including bends, flat patterns, tolerance stack-ups, and GD&T.
- Develop products considering manufacturability, cost optimization, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing.
- Modify existing designs based on engineering changes and customer requirements.
- Review drawings and BOMs for accuracy and completeness.
- Support prototype development and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with company and customer engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in sheet metal product design.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal Module).
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and fabrication.
- Experience in preparing fabrication drawings and assembly drawings.
- Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
