Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve the accuracy and contextual relevance of the models. The workday includes analyzing model outputs, iterating on fine-tuning strategies, and ensuring that the models perform optimally within targeted applications. Collaboration with various teams to align model capabilities with project goals is a key aspect, alongside troubleshooting and enhancing model behavior to meet diverse requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of fine-tuning strategies to improve model performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate domain-specific knowledge into model training.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and development within the project.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with model fine-tuning techniques including instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and transformer architectures.
- Ability to analyze and interpret model outputs to guide iterative improvements.
- Familiarity with handling large datasets and optimizing training workflows.
- Competence in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to align technical solutions with project objectives.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
