Job Overview: The person will be responsible for the execution and field implementation of United Way Mumbai's Natural Resource Management & climate action projects. The role focuses on driving initiatives related to climate change mitigation, adaptation, Natural Resource Management, and community-led climate resilience. We are looking for a proactive team member who is passionate about mobilizing citizens and multiple stakeholders to drive measurable environmental impact and long-term behavioral change.
Job Description:

Planning and executing end-to-end project deliverables and operational plans under the guidance of the Manager

Developing structured quarterly action plans and timelines to ensure seamless on-ground project execution

On-ground execution and field implementation of Natural Resource Management/ Soil and Water conservation & climate action projects

Establishing clear quarterly action plans to meet key project milestones under the guidance of the Manager

Stakeholder management and liaison with municipal corporation departments, state bodies (MPCB, Forest Dept), corporate partners, and NGOs
-
Mobilization of schools, colleges (NSS units), and citizen groups to secure active public participation in climate literacy and conservation drives

Development of impactful IEC materials focused on climate action and Natural Resource Management.

Monitoring and evaluation of project activities on the ground to ensure targets are met efficiently

High-quality report writing, data management, and documentation for donor and internal submissions.
- Any other responsibility assigned as and when required.
Profile Requisites:

Post-Graduation / Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Agriculture/ Horticulture or a relevant field

1–3 years of experience in managing Natural Resource Management projects, CSR projects, or community outreach programs

Self-starter with excellent community mobilization and outreach skills

Organized and an excellent communicator—written as well as oral

Able to multi-task and an excellent team player

A people's person with a natural flair and passion towards environmental sustainability and climate action

Proficient in communicating in English and Hindi (proficiency in Marathi will be an added preference)

Proficient with MS Office
- Willing to travel extensively in the field across India.
Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the salary range is INR 4.5 LPA to 6 LPA.
