Job Description:
Position: PRT SST (Social Studies) Teacher
Location: Siddhantam Heritage School, Ghaziabad
Experience:
Minimum 2 years (preferably teaching Social Studies from Grade 1 to Grade 5/6)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, or related Social Science subject with B.Ed
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with specialization/relevant experience in Social Studies
OR
Graduate with Social Science subjects and equivalent teaching qualification recognized by the relevant education board
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Strong subject knowledge in Environmental Studies (EVS), History, Geography, Civics, and General Awareness appropriate for primary classes
- Ability to make learning interactive through storytelling, activities, projects, maps, and real-life examples
- Patient, energetic, and child-friendly demeanor
- Ability to manage classroom discipline in a positive and engaging learning environment
- Proficiency in lesson planning, assessments, and maintaining student records
- Familiarity with smart boards, digital teaching tools, and online learning platforms
- Ability to organize educational activities, celebrations, exhibitions, and field-based learning experiences
- Preferably certified in child safety practices and modern teaching methodologies
