Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and drive business growth across North and West Delhi / NCR. This role focuses on managing field teams, expanding market presence, and ensuring high-quality scientific promotion in a competitive metro environment.
The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, mentoring Medical Representatives, and building strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Medical Representatives to achieve territory objectives
- Drive sales performance across assigned geography and ensure target achievement
- Develop and execute territory and business plans aligned with company strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, and pharmacy networks
- Monitor team field activity, ensure effective doctor coverage, and adherence to call plans
- Analyze prescription trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics
- Conduct joint field work, coaching, and performance reviews for team members
- Ensure compliance with ethical promotion practices and company guidelines
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights
Eligibility & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field
- 3–8 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare sales experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of team handling experience (preferred)
