Could you be the full-time Senior Analyst - Project Controlling in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your meticulous financial management and analytical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, strategic, and innovative teammates.
Supports project controlling, financial reporting, and accounting compliance while coordinating with project teams and assisting the FPM in payment processes. With experience, takes ownership of finance aspects for non-critical projects, provides financial insights for decision-making, and supports strategy execution and risk/opportunity management with senior guidance.
We’ll look to you for:
- Contribute effectively with the project initial set up
- Communicate effectively with Project Stakeholders and provide reliable financial analysis to assist in the decision-making (Explain, justify and keep record in detail)
- Prepare jointly with the project team, the management project reviews content and re-assess each semester the profitability (MPRs / FPRs / AFPs)
- Explain, justify and keep record in detail of the estimates
- Monitoring compliance with all governance and reporting rules & regulations in project
- Corroborating the permanent compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Set up and support the Target cost projects Application for Payment (AFP) process with collection of documentation and Data extraction in line with the allowable co
- Preparing timely forecasts for sales, costs, margin and cash to support the AFP process
- Ensuring billing process (external or internal) is made on a timely manner with the FPM
- Support with the cleansing of Overdue AP/ AR topics
- Understanding the contractual terms and conditions and focusing on supporting the Application for payment process
- Supporting Claim Management (jointly with Project Manager and Contract Manager), focus on finance topics, risks profile (support amendments wording)
- Assist in Managing and analyzing costs, revenue and profitability with the FPM
- Supporting the finance teams in the monthly closing process and reporting Project financials in a suitable manner
- Support Finance teams with Master data updates, raising requests for ensuring Customer information is up to date.
- Support with ODYC implementation and Process improvement
- Balance sheet reconciliation and Audit support
- Cleansing of GSI ERP historic contract data/ GRIR cleansing

A Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent (CA / CMA)
Experience or understanding of Project Controlling / Costing / Corporate Finance
Knowledge of financial management systems, notably SAP
Familiarity with MS Excel
A certification in finance or a related field is a plus
Robust analytical and presentation skills
Resilience and adaptability in the face of change
