Job Description – Senior Resident (Anaesthesiology)

Position: Senior Resident
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anaesthesia services for elective and emergency surgeries.
- Conduct pre-anaesthetic assessments and administer appropriate anaesthesia.
- Monitor patients during operative procedures and post-operative recovery.
- Attend emergency calls from OT, ICU, Emergency Department, and Labour Room.
- Participate in teaching and supervision of undergraduate students and junior residents.
- Maintain patient records and comply with NMC and hospital protocols.
- Perform rotational, night, and emergency duties as assigned.
Qualification:
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
Experience:
- Fresh postgraduates may apply. Relevant experience will be an added advantage.
