Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer collaborates with various teams to implement solutions using standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals. Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are essential to maintain compatibility and optimize system functionality throughout the application lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Purview.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based application configuration and management.
- Experience working with application programming interfaces to integrate and extend packaged solutions.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and automate business processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain system stability and performance.
- Understanding of release management practices and version control in software environments.

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Purview.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
