o Daily rounds of the outpatient department to ensure the readiness of the consultation rooms, cleanliness of the department and resource availability
o OPD scheduling of the consultant’s rooms
o Interaction with the patients to address issues ,if any.
o Ensure that there is not delays in the appointment schedule. In case of any delays same to be communicated to the patient.
o OP feedback collection
o Estimations for Womb to arm/ deliveries/ procedures. Same to be documented
o Reports to be prepared as directed by the HOD
o Followup for the W2A package
o Duty roster to be prepared for the front desk team
o Accounts recon to be done on a weekly basis
o Ambulance coordination for patient transfer in and transfer out.
o Coverup for front desk task in absence of the staff.
o Highlight the concern’s to the HOD as shared by the stakeholders
o Inventory management in OP
o Consultant Name boards to be available before the consultation starts
o Stock for ear piercing and records for the same to be maintained.
· IP
o Patient Receiving from Admission desk
o Patient escort from admission desk to ward and briefing them about the facility and the discharge process for both insurance and cash patients.
o Daily rounds to be conducted and issues highlighted to be documented
o Ensure that the maintenance issues are closed in 24 hours , escalation to be done in case of open issues.
o Baby Gift to issued to the patient after the birth and the same to be documented
o Discharge Summaries – Coordination with Billing & Insurance Team. Preparing for the discharges a day before to reduce the discharge time
o Checking on the tentative bill amount of the patient and communicating the same. Ensuring that the bill is signed and advance is paid for as per the regulations
o Birth & Death Certification Registration & Updation. Handling the queries regarding the same
o Patient Feedback to be collected for all IP and Redressal of issues highlighted by the Patients
o W to A package explanation, coordination and follow-up. Documentation to be done for the same
o Duty roster for IP team
o EDD to be tracked and patient follow-up to be done. Updation to be done weekly for the same.
o Bed Management
o Ensuring that the room is ready post discharge
o List of vacant room to be given to night MOD.
o Blocking of the room for W2A patients and informing the concerned department about the same
