Key Responsibilities: -
1. Clinical Care: Monitor and assess the condition of newborns (vital signs, oxygen levels, feeding, etc.). Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and nutrition. Provide ventilator and oxygen support as needed. Perform routine procedures (suctioning, catheterization, blood sampling). Assist in resuscitation and emergency interventions)
2. Strong clinical knowledge of neonatal care: Ability to handle emergencies and use NICU equipment (ventilator, incubator, monitors). Excellent interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
3. Patient Safety & Monitoring: Maintain strict infection control protocols in the NICU.Document patient observations, treatments, and progress accurately. Report any changes in infant’s condition promptly to doctors.
4. Family Support & Communication: Educate and guide parents of infant care, breastfeeding, and bonding. Provide emotional support to families during critical situations.
5. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with doctors, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other NICU staff. Participate in daily clinical rounds.
6. Administrative & Professional Duties: Maintain NICU equipment and ensure proper functioning. Keep patient records updated and confidential. Participate in training programs, workshops, and continuous learning. Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards, and ethical practices.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
