Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager – IT to lead the complete IT function for a large manufacturing organization. The role involves managing enterprise IT infrastructure, ERP systems, business applications, cybersecurity, and driving digital transformation initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organization's complete IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, hardware, internet connectivity, backups, disaster recovery, and data security.
- Oversee ERP implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Manage business applications such as CRM, HRMS, procurement systems, and other enterprise software.
- Drive digitization and process automation initiatives across departments.
- Develop MIS reports, dashboards, and workflow automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure cybersecurity, IT governance, data protection, and compliance with IT policies.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and business continuity.
- Manage IT vendors, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), software licensing, and IT budgets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team while collaborating with cross-functional departments to deliver technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or MCA.
- MBA (Systems), ITIL, PMP, Cloud, or Cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills
- 10–15 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation and management.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, servers, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
- Experience managing enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, and procurement systems.
- Hands-on experience in digital transformation, automation projects, and business process improvement.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading and managing an IT team.
- Manufacturing or plant IT experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of BI tools, dashboards, and system integrations is an advantage.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and manage enterprise-wide IT initiatives.
- Willing to relocate to Bhilai/Durg, Chhattisgarh.
Salary: ₹80,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month (Based on experience and interview)
