A Travel Desk Executive manages end-to-end corporate travel, including booking flights, trains, hotels, and local transport while ensuring compliance with company policy and budget. They coordinate itineraries, process visa applications, manage vendor relationships, negotiate rates, and resolve last-minute travel disruptions for employees.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Travel Booking & Logistics: Handling domestic and international travel requests, including flights, hotels, trains, and cabs, and issuing tickets.
Vendor & Cost Management: Negotiating with vendors (hotels, travel agencies) for best rates, renewing annual contracts, and maintaining cost-effective travel, often in coordination with HR or finance. Itinerary & Documentation: Creating detailed itineraries, managing travel documents, and handling visa applications.
Policy Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring all travel adheres to company travel policies, managing travel expense reports, and creating monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Emergency Assistance: Providing 24/7 support for last-minute changes, cancellations, and travel emergencies. Event Coordination: Arranging transportation and accommodation for corporate events, off-sites, and meetings.
Key Skills Required: Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with travelers and vendors.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of travel booking tools, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and MS Office (especially Excel for MIS reports). Negotiation: Ability to secure competitive pricing.Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm and resolve issues during emergencies.
Pay: Up to ₹23,000.00 per month
