The individual will work closely with stakeholders across operations, business, and support functions to gather reporting requirements, analyze data, and deliver meaningful insights. They will be expected to make evaluative judgments based on data analysis, identify trends, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. The role has a direct impact on business performance through the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting services provided.
- Prepare, maintain, and automate Management Information System (MIS) reports to support business decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
- Perform data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity across reports.
- Create periodic and ad-hoc reports, scorecards, performance metrics, and executive dashboards for stakeholders.
- Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful analytical solutions.
- Analyze reporting trends, identify insights, and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
- Support report migration, dashboard enhancements, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with reporting controls, governance standards, and data quality requirements.
- Utilize advanced features of MS Excel including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Lookups, and data modeling for reporting and analysis.
- Prepare presentations and management updates using PowerPoint and maintain reporting documentation using the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Technology, Risk, and Business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for reporting changes, enhancements, and dashboard implementations.
- Resolve reporting issues through root cause analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- 5–8 years of experience in MIS Reporting, Business Reporting, Data Analytics, or Management Information Systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and reporting/dashboard development.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience in data analysis, report automation, data validation, and reporting governance.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices and KPI/dashboard design.
- Experience with reporting tools, databases, and data management processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data insights to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's/University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.
