Junior Backend PHP Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications, primarily using PHP (Laravel) and related technologies (Python, NodeJs etc).
- Work closely with senior developers to understand system architecture, business logic, and implementation strategies.
- Participate in designing efficient and scalable backend systems, including database structures and APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices.
- Analyze problems, debug issues, and propose effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA) to deliver high-quality features.
- Leverage modern tools, including AI-assisted development (e.g., code assistants, automation tools), to improve productivity and code quality.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in software development (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Basic understanding of backend development concepts (APIs, databases, client-server architecture).
- Familiarity with any programming language (PHP is a plus, not mandatory).
- Understanding of databases (MySQL or similar) and basic query writing.
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Awareness or hands-on experience with AI-driven development tools is an advantage.
- Eagerness to learn PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Self-driven mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
Good to Have (Optional)
- Basic knowledge of PHP and Laravel.
- Exposure to Redis, caching, or queue systems.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Internship/project experience in web development.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
