Ace Rooms Ltd is a UK-based B2B travel technology company with over 16 years of experience in global hotel and transfer distribution. The platform enables travel agents and API partners to search live inventory, book hotels and transfers, and manage payments. The company is currently rebuilding its platform on Microsoft Azure with a modern Angular 19 frontend, targeting a clean, contemporary design aligned to European travel industry standards.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Front-End Developer & Web Designer to join our team and take ownership of the visual and interactive layer of our platform. The role combines frontend development (Angular Latest / HTML / CSS / JavaScript) with graphic design responsibilities, including HTML email design and distribution. The successful candidate will help deliver a modern, user-friendly interface for a global B2B travel audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using Angular (Latest Version), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Implement UI/UX designs across key platform screens: search, results, guest checkout, booking management, and transfer flows.
- Ensure the platform presents a modern, professional appearance consistent with European travel website standards.
- Design and build HTML emails; manage distribution to the client mailing list.
- Create graphic design assets including banners, brochures, flyers using Photoshop.
- Maintain and update the company website; apply SEO best practices to improve visibility and performance.
- Collaborate with the back-end development team to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data presentation.
- Keep designs current, fresh, and aligned with brand guidelines as the platform evolves.
- Prepare and maintain project-related documentation, reports, and correspondence using MS Office.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Frontend Development — Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Ability to manage and update WordPress-based web pages.
- Angular — Working knowledge of Angular (experience with Angular 19 or latest versions preferred).
- Graphic Design — Adobe Photoshop; ability to produce professional layouts, banners.
- Email Design — Experience designing and sending HTML emails to client mailing lists.
- SEO — Practical knowledge of on-page SEO techniques, meta tags, site structure, and performance optimisation to improve search visibility.
- Version Control — Git knowledge is worth stating since you'll be working with GitHub
- MS Office — Competent in Word, Excel, and related tools.
- Communication — Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
- Attention to Detail — Strong eye for design, layout consistency, and user experience.
Desirable Skills
- Prior experience working for a travel company or within the travel industry.
- Familiarity with Azure Web Apps or cloud-hosted frontend deployments.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions) for frontend builds.
- Experience with Angular Material component library.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a relevant discipline (Design, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a front-end development or web design role.
