Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineering Tutor with strong experience in live coding interviews, advanced data structures and algorithms, system design, and technical interview preparation.
The ideal candidate must be able to solve difficult coding problems live, explain solutions clearly, and teach candidates how to perform confidently during real technical interviews.
Required Skills
- Strong live coding experience in Python, Java, and C++
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, time complexity, and problem-solving techniques
- Strong and active LeetCode profile with consistent completion of medium and hard-level problems
- Must be willing to share their LeetCode profile during the hiring process
- Experience with HackerRank and other live coding interview platforms
- Strong system design knowledge, including:
- High-level and low-level system design
- Distributed systems
- Microservices
- APIs
- Databases
- Caching
- Load balancing
- Scalability
- Reliability and fault tolerance
- Ability to solve coding problems live while clearly explaining the thought process
- Ability to conduct mock coding interviews and system design interviews
- Strong teaching, coaching, and communication skills
- Previous experience mentoring software engineers or preparing candidates for technical interviews is preferred
English Requirement
Excellent spoken English is mandatory.
The tutor must be able to communicate clearly, explain complex technical concepts, ask interview-style questions, and provide detailed feedback in fluent English.
Candidates without strong English communication skills should not apply. Applicants who cannot communicate clearly and professionally in English will be rejected.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one live coding sessions
- Teach Python, Java, and C++ interview problem-solving
- Help students solve LeetCode and HackerRank problems
- Cover medium and hard-level algorithm questions
- Conduct realistic mock technical interviews
- Teach system design from beginner to advanced levels
- Review code and explain improvements
- Teach candidates how to communicate their thought process during interviews
- Identify weaknesses and create personalized improvement plans
- Provide feedback on coding speed, accuracy, code quality, and communication
- Prepare candidates for live coding platforms and senior software engineering interviews
Selected candidates may be required to complete a live coding and system design demonstration before being hired.
Pay: ₹1,925.00 - ₹2,800.00 per hour
