Job Summary
Blue Monkfish Private Limited is looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our in-house creative team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in professional video editing, 2D animation, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and post-production. Experience with 3D animation and VFX will be considered a strong advantage.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling end-to-end video production for digital marketing campaigns, social media, branding, advertisements, and corporate communications.
Portfolio/Showreel is mandatory. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality promotional, corporate, social media, and marketing videos.
- Create engaging 2D animations and motion graphics for digital campaigns.
- Design animated explainers, product videos, and brand videos.
- Add professional transitions, typography, visual effects, and sound design.
- Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling for marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to produce compelling content.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high creative standards.
- Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing, animation, and AI creative tools.
- Mentor junior editors and maintain quality standards across projects.
Required Skills
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Strong expertise in 2D Animation & Motion Graphics
- Excellent video editing and post-production skills
- Sound design and audio synchronization
- Color correction and color grading
- Typography and animation principles
- Visual storytelling and creative direction
- Experience with social media video formats (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 3D Animation (Blender, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, or similar)
- Basic VFX and compositing knowledge
- Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Knowledge of AI-powered video editing tools is an added advantage.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Multimedia, Film Production, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, 2D animation, and motion graphics projects.
- Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
