Job Summary:
The Technician is responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV systems including CCTV, networking, and associated infrastructure. The role requires hands-on technical skills, adherence to project specifications, and coordination with the site team to ensure timely and quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, and maintain CCTV systems, IP cameras, NVR/DVR, and surveillance equipment.
- Carry out structured cabling work (LAN, fiber optic, coaxial cables).
- Perform installation and termination of network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels, and racks.
- Execute cable routing, dressing, labelling, and containment work (conduits, trays, trunking).
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of ELV systems.
- Assist in system commissioning and ensure proper functionality as per design.
- Read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
- Ensure proper usage and handling of tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Maintain daily work reports and update progress to supervisors.
- Coordinate with other teams (civil, electrical, HVAC) for smooth execution.
- Follow site safety standards and company policies at all times.
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems and networking concepts
- Hands-on experience in cable termination and device installation
- Ability to use testing tools (LAN tester, Multimeter, etc.)
- Understanding of IP addressing and network basics (preferred)
- Ability to read drawings and execute work accordingly
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Educational Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
- Relevant certifications (if any) will be an added advantage
- 1–2 years of experience in ELV / CCTV / Networking projects
- Fresher’s with technical training may also be considered
working Condition
- Site-based role with travel to multiple project locations
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
