Function of the Position:
This position is responsible for Facilities & Engineering operations at all USP sites to ensure high standard of building, machinery, plant, furniture, fixtures and equipment in all the facilities. Achieve total employee satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources
- Assist the budgeting process for CapEx and OpEx
- Develop the systems and implement the procedures ensuring the safety of employees, properties, machinery
- Create a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning and development and use feedback from the stakeholders to draw an action plan.
- Develop and Implement the Annual maintenance plans using the framework, linking the department’s objectives to the organization strategy
- Direct, supervise and monitor the performance of the service providers
- Responsible for the Building Management Systems
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and update the departmental procedures from time to time and ensure the effectiveness of the procedures.
- Monitor the spares and inventory management
- Develop and implement process improvement/sustainability initiatives
- Operate and Maintain the Building Management System
- Ensure implementation and follow the effective maintenance plan, measuring the MTTR and MTBF.
- Responsible for Statutory compliance in liaison with Government agencies.
- Cross functional collaboration with EHS, Security & Administration
- Responsible for modification works aligning with business requirements.
Who is USP Looking For?
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:
- Minimum 10 Years of experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Pharma GMP/QMS Exposures and experience will be an added advantage.
- Experience in ISO/Regulatory audit certifications
- Self-motivated, result oriented, team player and should have ability to multitask.

- Prior experience in pharmaceutical and scientific R&D industry.
- Results driven, demonstrated with successful outcomes.
- Ability and desire to work well with diverse employees and customers in a cooperative and friendly manner.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Able to work flexible hours when needed. In addition to normal business hours serves on the Emergency Response Team provide 24 hour a day, 7 days a week response to emergency alarm calls and can be available on short notice to support requests during unusual hours, especially early or late in the day during the business week.
