Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service to all guests.
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer menu recommendations when required.
- Handle guest feedback politely and escalate concerns to the supervisor when needed.
Operational Duties
- Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
- Assist with running food, polishing cutlery, and replenishing service stations.
- Support smooth coordination between the floor team and kitchen staff.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards consistently.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with fellow servers, runners, and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and service updates.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Guest-first mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Professional grooming and a positive work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
