Qualification:
B.Tech / B.E / Diploma / Equivalent Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in automobile industry (Sheet Metal)
5–08 Years (Mandatory)
Salary:
₹30,000 – ₹40,000 CTC
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
To manage overall finished goods (FG) storage, handling, inventory control, and dispatch preparation activities.
To ensure proper receipt, identification, storage, preservation, and traceability of finished goods.
To monitor finished goods inventory as per customer schedules and dispatch requirements.
To coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Dispatch, and Marketing departments for smooth FG movement and delivery planning.
To ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed wherever applicable.
To ensure finished goods are properly packed, labeled, and stored to prevent damage or deterioration.
To maintain FG stock records, inventory reports, dispatch records, and traceability documents accurately.
To verify quantity, part identification, packaging standards, and dispatch readiness before shipment.
To ensure segregation and control of rejected, hold, or non-conforming finished goods.
To monitor inventory accuracy and conduct periodic stock verification activities.
To ensure implementation of 5S, housekeeping, safety practices, and material handling controls in FG areas.
To coordinate with Quality department for final inspection clearance and dispatch approvals.
To support customer audits, internal audits, and system audits related to FG storage and traceability.
To monitor material movement, stock aging, and inventory status to avoid shortages or excess stock.
To maintain documents related to FG inward, outward, stock transfer, dispatch schedules, and inventory reconciliation.
To ensure proper documentation control related to FG operations including dispatch challans, stock registers, packaging records, and traceability records.
To support continual improvement activities related to inventory control, material handling, and dispatch accuracy.
To ensure compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, and quality system requirements related to FG management.
