FINANCE & ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Jwala Group is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Finance & Accounts Manager to lead and oversee the Finance and Accounts Department of the Group. The selected candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Management and will play a key role in the Company's financial planning, reporting, compliance, and operational control functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounts Department.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking transactions, and treasury functions.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, taxation, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and government authorities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounts team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Support management in budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure proper inventory accounting and internal control systems across all business units.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial-level experience in Finance and Accounts.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Profile
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Diamond and Gold Jewellery Industry.
- Candidates familiar with jewellery inventory management, valuation, and industry-specific financial practices will have an added advantage.
- Thrissur-based candidates or those willing to relocate to Thrissur will be preferred.
