About the Role:
Vartika Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on IT Technician (Fresher) to support our in-house IT infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or diploma holder to build a career in IT support within a fast-growing manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Set up and troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi networking (routers, switches, cabling)
- Install and maintain CCTV camera systems and DVR/NVR setups
- Configure and maintain EPABX/telephone systems and extensions
- Manage and troubleshoot basic software issues (OS installation, drivers, MS Office)
- Handle data entry, record-keeping, and reporting in CSV/Excel format
- Provide first-level IT support to plant/office staff
- Maintain inventory of IT hardware and accessories
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware assembly & troubleshooting
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing)
- Familiarity with CCTV camera installation and configuration
- Basic knowledge of telephone/EPABX systems
- Proficiency in MS Excel/CSV file handling
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and work on-site
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
- Freshers with relevant internship/project experience are encouraged to apply
- Basic certifications (CCNA/hardware networking course) are a plus, not mandatory
