Role
Leads procurement and supplier management for new product development (NPD) of EV chargers, covering both PCBA assemblies and child parts along with other critical components. Ensures cost-effective sourcing, early supplier involvement, and timely material availability during design, prototyping, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Development & Sourcing
- Identify and qualify suppliers for EV charger components:
- PCBA assemblies and child parts (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, relays, sensors).
- Power modules, wire harnesses, enclosures, mechanical parts.
- Drive early supplier involvement in design feasibility and prototyping.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply terms to optimize cost and quality.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align procurement with technical requirements.
- Provide supplier input during design reviews on manufacturability and cost.
- Support business development with cost analysis and quotation turnaround.
- Procurement & Cost Management
- Prepare BOMs for new charger models, including detailed child-part breakdowns.
- Float RFQs, analyze quotations, and benchmark costs.
- Ensure competitive sourcing strategies for critical EV charger components.
· Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure supplier compliance with ISO, IEC, RoHS, and EV industry standards.
- Maintain procurement documentation for audits and certifications.
- Track supplier performance and report KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 5–10 years in procurement/sourcing, with EV/automotive/electrical equipment experience preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of EV charger components, PCBA assemblies, and child parts.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong costing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
- Soft Skills: Communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
