Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on Interview Performance & Experience)
Job Summary
Lucknow Builders is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Architect with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in architectural design, planning, and project execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong design, drafting, planning, and project coordination skills, along with the ability to develop innovative, functional, and sustainable architectural solutions.
The Architect will be responsible for preparing architectural drawings, planning residential and commercial projects, coordinating with clients, consultants, site engineers, interior designers, contractors, and government authorities, while ensuring projects are executed according to approved plans, quality standards, and timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Design & Planning
- Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare conceptual layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Design projects that comply with functional, aesthetic, structural, and safety requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available space while maintaining design quality.
Drawing Preparation & Documentation
- Prepare 2D architectural drawings and presentation layouts.
- Develop construction drawings, working drawings, and detailing for project execution.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing, and interior design drawings.
- Revise drawings based on client requirements and site conditions.
Site Coordination & Supervision
- Visit project sites to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Resolve architectural and technical issues during project execution.
- Ensure construction quality meets architectural specifications.
Client Coordination
- Meet clients to understand project requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Present architectural concepts, layouts, and design proposals professionally.
- Incorporate client feedback into design revisions while maintaining project feasibility.
- Maintain strong professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Interior Designers, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Ensure smooth coordination between office and site teams.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion.
Approval & Compliance
- Prepare drawings and documents required for municipal approvals and statutory compliance.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building bye-laws, development authority regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities whenever required for project approvals.
Material Selection & Quality Control
- Assist in selecting suitable construction materials and architectural finishes.
- Review material samples and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Recommend cost-effective and durable design solutions.
- Verify architectural work during execution.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain architectural drawings, revisions, project records, and approvals.
- Prepare project documentation, BOQ support, and design reports whenever required.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Report project updates regularly to senior management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar architectural software.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to prepare architectural working drawings and construction details.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and finishing works.
- Understanding of municipal building regulations and development authority guidelines.
- Excellent creativity, visualization, and design presentation skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and client management abilities.
- Good planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience as an Architect.
- Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects will be preferred.
- Candidate should be a resident of Lucknow or willing to relocate.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Architecture is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural design software.
- Ability to prepare architectural drawings and coordinate with project teams.
- Willingness to visit project sites whenever required.
- Must coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Should maintain professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality.
- Must follow company policies, project specifications, and quality standards.
