Job Summary
OJD Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Counsellor to guide and support students in choosing the right courses and career paths. The candidate will be responsible for handling student inquiries, counselling prospects, and converting leads into admissions. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about education and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding courses, career options, and training programs
- Handle inbound and outbound calls for student inquiries
- Convert leads into admissions through effective communication
- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested students
- Understand student requirements and suggest suitable courses
- Maintain student data and update records in CRM or Excel
- Coordinate with the internal team for smooth admission processes
- Achieve monthly admission targets
- Provide accurate information about courses, fees, and schedules
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 1 to 2 year of experience in counselling/sales (preferred)
- Good communication and convincing skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
- Positive attitude and student-friendly approach
Salary & Benefits
