Job Summary
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network security, firewalls, Microsoft 365 administration, virtualization platforms, and enterprise networking technologies. The role also involves creating SOPs, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting business-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, Wireless, and SD-WAN environments.
- Install, configure, and manage enterprise firewalls such as Sophos, Fortinet, or equivalent.
- Configure and maintain VPN solutions, including IPSec and SSL VPN.
- Implement and manage IDS/IPS solutions to strengthen network security.
- Configure and manage VLANs, routing, switching, and enterprise network segmentation.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure AD integration.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments.
- Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
- Configure and manage Aruba Wireless Access Points and enterprise wireless networks.
- Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
- Monitor network health, performance, utilization, and security using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for Network Operations Center (NOC) activities and critical incident management.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network, connectivity, and security issues with minimal downtime.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and network diagrams.
- Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards, backup policies, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure projects.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Sophos, Fortinet, or similar enterprise firewalls.
- Extensive knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and VLAN technologies.
- Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec and SSL VPN).
- Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS implementation and management.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server.
- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Experience deploying and managing Aruba Wireless Access Points.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architecture and implementation.
- Experience with enterprise network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with NOC operations and incident management processes.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
