EMT Technician – Emergency Department

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced EMT Technician to provide prompt emergency medical support and assist the clinical team in delivering safe, efficient and patient-centred emergency care in accordance with NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate pre-hospital and emergency support as per protocols and scope of practice.
- Assist doctors and nurses in emergency procedures and patient stabilization.
- Perform and record vital signs, ECG and other basic emergency assessments.
- Ensure readiness of ambulance, emergency equipment, oxygen, monitors and crash carts.
- Assist in patient transfer, shifting and safe transportation within the hospital.
- Maintain accurate emergency documentation and patient records.
- Follow infection prevention, biomedical waste and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in emergency drills, training and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, attendants and the clinical team.
- Follow hospital SOPs, emergency protocols and NABH requirements.
Eligibility:
- EMT / Emergency Medical Technician qualification from a recognized institution.
- 2+ years of relevant Emergency Department / Ambulance experience preferred.
- BLS/ACLS certification will be an advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork and crisis-management skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
