Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end HVAC project execution for Naval projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project performance against cost, schedule, quality, and scope objectives.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, shipyards, naval authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct project reviews, progress meetings, and technical discussions with clients.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support business growth and repeat opportunities.
Engineering Coordination
- Coordinate HVAC design activities including:
- Heat load calculations
- Cooling and ventilation systems
- Chilled water systems
- Air handling units
- Refrigeration systems
- NBC (Nuclear, Biological & Chemical) filtration systems
- BOM
- Ensure designs comply with Naval standards and customer specifications.
- Support technical reviews, design approvals, and change management processes.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage supplier selection and technical evaluations.
- Coordinate procurement of HVAC equipment and materials through Supply Chain team.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, quality, and contractual obligations.
Installation & Commissioning
- Support shipboard installation activities and site management.
- Coordinate testing, balancing, sea trials, harbor acceptance tests, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure successful handover of systems to customers.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- Naval standards
- Class approvals & Inspections
- Company quality and safety procedures
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout project execution.
- Ensure project documentation and records are maintained accurately.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Review project profitability and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support contract negotiations, change orders, and claims management.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering , Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in HVAC engineering and project management.

Experience executing projects within Naval shipbuilding programs
- Experience working with shipyards, defense organizations, and classification societies.
- Knowledge of lifecycle management from design through commissioning.
