Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Support & Execution:
- Assist the Production Manager in daily and weekly production planning.
- Ensure smooth execution of production schedules.
- Monitor daily production output and report variances.
2. Shop Floor Supervision:
- Coordinate with labour teams and ensure proper task allocation.
- Monitor productivity and workflow discipline.
- Ensure adherence to operational SOPs.
3. Quality & Process Monitoring:
- Ensure quality standards are maintained during production.
- Identify defects or process gaps and escalate to the Production Manager.
- Assist in reducing rework and wastage.
4. Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate with procurement for material availability.
- Align with logistics team for dispatch readiness.
- Support inter-departmental communication for smooth operations.
5. Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain daily production records.
- Prepare basic production and output reports.
- Assist in tracking inventory consumption and material usage.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of production and shop floor operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
