Job Responsibilities
- SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
Solid understanding of IFRS and preparation of financial statements
Strong command over ISA and ISQM standards, especially audit documentation and quality control requirements
Hands-on experience in CaseWare: structure, review tools, checklists, signoffs
Familiarity with audit sampling, substantive procedures, and audit assertions
Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and presentation
Knowledge of quality indicators and documentation sufficiency
Strong communication and documentation writing skills
Experience reviewing files at the manager/partner review standard
JOB DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate should
Review audit documentation and IFRS-based financial statements in CaseWare for quality, completeness, and compliance
Apply knowledge of ISA and ISQM to validate whether audit procedures, evidence, and conclusions meet expected quality thresholds
Ensure audit working papers follow structured file flow, referencing, and sign-off protocols
Evaluate financial disclosures for compliance with IFRS (including IFRS 15, 16, 9, etc.) and client/regulatory frameworks
Validate the completeness of audit procedures (planning, risk assessment, sampling, evidence, conclusion)
Provide written feedback to preparers and suggest process corrections
Ensure consistency across documentation, audit findings, and final reports
Work in coordination with audit leads and delivery managers to finalize files before client/partner submission
Assist in quality improvement initiatives aligned with ISQM 1 requirements for quality monitoring and continuous improvement
Maintain audit readiness documentation for internal or external quality reviews and inspections
